As you know, our PPA Volume Submitter DB pre-approved plan process is current underway. We wanted to give you a quick update on the process and some estimated dates as to when we expect to receive our letter and when we expect the restatement program to open.
At this point, the process is still in its early stages. We are currently working through additional information requests with the IRS pre-approved plans coordinators, and we expect that PPA DB Plan reviewers will be assigned relatively soon.
At the recent Cincinnati Benefits Conference, our attendees learned from the pre-approved plan coordinators that they expect to issue DB letters in the spring of 2018 and expect the 2-year restatement period to run from spring 2018 to spring 2020. So we're still a ways off from the restatement program beginning.
